The Southern Festival of Books

ABOUT:Put on by Humanities Tennessee, the Southern Festival of Books is intended to be a true celebration of the written word by bringing together readers and authors and promoting the joy of reading. The festival was first held in 1989, and brings around 200 authors to Nashville for readings, discussions, book signings, and activities. The festival is free to the public and also features performance stages with music by regional songwriters and poets.
