The all-day event, beginning at 8:00 a.m., takes place prior to the BookExpo America trade show. It offers a full-day of programming and workshops, taught by leading authors, editors, agents and other industry professionals, designed to help writers improve their craft and get published. Among the participants scheduled are best-selling author Jerry B. Jenkins, Bonnie Neubauer, Peter Miller, Jessica Morrell, and Hallie Ephron -- plus the editors of Writer's Digest Books, Writer's Digest magazine and Writer's Market. Also returning will be the popular "pitch slam session," where attendees can pitch their book idea to top agents and editors and get instant feedback.
