Before you compile the materials in your media kit, please take this solemn vow: "I promise, never to mail or distribute, any marketing materials, or publicity information, without including: book title, author, publisher, ISBN, price, publication date and whether the book is hard or soft cover." Making the Most of BookExpo America 2000 - Chicago, June 1-4

"Buy & Sell this Year's 'Barney' at the Licensing Arena."

Sponsored by the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers' Association, the Licensing Arena will be located on the convention floor near Children's and Sidelines. As 50% of all children's books originate from licensed characters, it is a natural that BEA has designated a separate area near the children's section where licensing business may be conducted. The 7,000 square foot area will have a stage in the center where licensed characters will be on display.
