Louisiana Book Festival

ABOUT:The Louisiana Book Festival is a free, open to public literary celebration that takes place in Baton Rouge. Events include Wordshops, activities for kids and teens, an Authors Party for contributing writers, poets, panelists, and sponsors, and the One Book, One Festival group in which participants read a selected book in advance and join a scholar-led discussion. The festival also presents the Louisiana Writer Award, given annually to "recognize outstanding contributions to Louisiana's literary and intellectual life."
