2015 Independent Publisher Book Awards Ceremony
Please join us and celebrate your recent Independent Publisher Book Awards win! On Wednesday, May 27th, from 6-9 pm, we will present the 19th Annual IPPY Awards ceremony in New York City.
THE LOCATION: The event will be held at Providence NYC, 311 W. 57th St., our regular venue for the past few years. Located in the heart of Manhattan on West 57th Street, Providence is a short walk from Central Park, Columbus Circle, Times Square, 5th Avenue and Madison Avenue shopping, and all major transportation. Some of the world’s finest hotels are a short walk from Providence. More about Providence can be found here.
THE DETAILS: The event a cocktail party-style with open bar, passed hors d'oeurves and light buffet. Dress is business casual. Announcements will begin at about 6:45, beginning with Outstanding Books, then National, Regional, and Ebook categories.
Jim Barnes, Awards Director, will go through the listing and introduce all winners in attendance, and invite each to come up to get a medal and have an official photo taken in front of the IPPY Awards backdrop -- no speech required (or allowed, due to time constraints...)
Remember to bring your medal-winning book! We do not have the books on display, but there will be a PowerPoint version of the results projected on the big screen behind the podium.
