CDS HIRES TWO SENIOR EXECUTIVES AS PART OF EXPANSION PLAN

As part of its rapid expansion, Client Distribution Services (CDS) has announced that two senior executives, Stanley Cohen and Janet Napolitano Krug, will join the company effective immediately.

Cohen was most recently Vice President, Director of Retail Sales at Random House. Prior to that, he held various positions at Ballantine Books. Starting there in 1981, Cohen was sales rep, regional manager, and Vice President, Direct Sales until 1999.

CDS was a division of Random House, Inc. until 1999, when it was established as a stand-alone company. It offers the highest quality marketing and distribution services for publishers of all sizes including sales, warehousing, fulfillment of orders, and collections. By retaining the majority of its sales, business and warehouse executives from its tenure at Random House, Inc., CDS provides the continuity of a highly experienced team that has closely tracked and reacted to the changes taking place in the publishing industry over the last two decades. Among the roster of current CDS clients are Harvard Business School Press, Taschen America, Vault.com, Hearst Books, Abbeville Publishing Group, QVC, Chouette, and Lego Media.
