Over 300,000 prospective distributors, buyers, and rights licensees from all over Europe and the world descend on Frankfurt, Germany every year to participate in the Frankfurt Book Fair, the largest and most important trade show in the industry. With Europe already purchasing 1/4 of all U.S. books sold overseas ($440 million in 2000), the Frankfurt Book Fair even hosts one of the world's largest exhibitions for English-language books. Books by woman and minority authors comprise one of the fastest growing segments for U.S. English-language books in Europe.The U.S. Department of Commerce Book Title Display at the Frankfurt Book Fair assists U.S. minority & woman-owned publishers/authors by providing them low-cost exposure at the world's biggest book show in the world's largest book market. For only $100 per book, we: display your book(s) and distribute your sales literature; list your firm in our widely distributed Title Display Directory; and collect hot leads from firms wanting to distribute, buy, or license your book(s).
