Mike Daisey's 21 DOG YEARS: DOING TIME @ AMAZON.COM

His non-disclosure agreement has expired. NOW THE TRUTH CAN BE TOLD!
BOY MEETS DOT.COM. BOY FALLS FOR DOT.COM. BOY FLEES DOT.COM IN HORROR! So goes the true and perversely hilarious love story 21 DOG YEARS: DOING TIME @ AMAZON.COM, beginning a limited engagement at the Cherry Lane Theatre on Monday, April 15.

A wickedly funny anthem to an era of bounteous stock options, bottomless cups of coffee and boundless insanity, 21 DOG YEARS chronicles the virtual adventures of Mike Daisey, the bard of the startup boom-and-bust. From lowly customer service rep to business development hustler, Daisey worked like a dog up the corporate ladder of Amazon.com, until the lightless cube farms, 60-hour weeks, and the cult of personality that is CEO Jeff Bezos got the best of him. Now his Non-Disclosure Agreement has expired, and he's got a juicy and deliciously biting bone to pick with corporate America.

Performances: Mon, Wed & Thurs 8 pm, Fri 7pm & 9:30pm, Sat 5pm & 9pm, Sun 3pm.

WATCH MIKE DAISEY IN ACTION! Early in 2001, Mike Daisey and filmmaker John Tynes used Mike's old Amazon.com employee credentials to gain access to the company's headquarters. For the next couple hours they snuck around the building, shooting this short film guerilla style in the empty offices and deserted cubicle farms of a company in decline. Join Mike on the most unusual corporate tour ever caught on video, as covered by such diverse media as Entertainment Weekly and The Wall Street Journal. Click here to watch the movie.
