Readers Share Recommendations in Beach Reads Contest
Bookreporter.com celebrates summer with Summer Beach Reading Lists and a Summer Beach Reads Contest, giving readers a place to share their reading recommendations and a chance to win 10 beach bags filled with books.Bookreporter.com selected 12 hardcovers and 12 paperbacks for its Summer Beach Reading Lists. "Our goal was to choose books that were a breeze to read --- titles that readers could escape with and enjoy on the beach, terrace, patio or hammock," reports Carol Fitzgerald, co-Founder and President of The Book Report Network.

These 24 titles are prizes in the website's "Summer Beach Read Contest." Bookreporter.com will give away beach bags filled with books from the Summer Reading List to 10 randomly selected winners who answer the question: "What 10 titles would you stock a vacation home with that would be ideal reading for your guests?"
Five randomly selected winners will receive a beach bag filled with 12 hardcovers and five more randomly selected winners will receive a beach bag filled with 12 paperbacks. The prizes are titles featured on Bookreporter.com's Summer Beach Reading Lists. The contest runs through July 26th. See complete rules and regulations here.
According to Fitzgerald, "Our contest idea came about because some of our staffers were visiting vacation homes that were stocked with great titles, and others found themselves in homes where the library was woefully lacking. It quickly inspired thoughts about 'the ultimate reading library.'" Reader lists will be posted on the website beginning in mid-June.
