Frankfurt Book Fair on the Web

A new look and a clear structure
In time for the beginning of the Frankfurt Book Fair in October, the Fair's website is now online with a new look and a clear structure. Matching the company's new corporate identity, this indispensable contact, information and service platform for the international book trade and publishing industry has been completely redesigned. The range of services for exhibitors has been expanded and significantly improved, with simpler navigation and faster access to information.

Another new feature is the free online Frankfurt Book Fair Newsletter (formerly International Info), providing subscribers with monthly news from the industry and the latest from the Book Fair. Users can sign up for the Newsletter free of charge under the subject heading "Trade Information/Newsletter".

The Book Fair's long-standing information services continue in user-friendly format: "Catalogues" heads up the world's three largest address databases for the publishing and media community, available for research free of charge. For a small fee, companies from the industry that do not usually have a stand at the Fair itself, can however register to be part of the digital Book Fair. As a company directory, the "Frankfurt Catalogue" provides detailed information on approximately 7,000 publishers and media companies in more than 100 countries. The "Frankfurt Rights Catalogue" is a license database offering 19,000 book and multimedia titles from about 60 countries and in more than 50 languages. The "Frankfurt Who's Who" lists over 14,000 people in the publishing and media industry worldwide, with contact details and information on their areas of responsibility.

The Calendar of Events for the Frankfurt Book Fair 2002 has also been online since mid-August at "Frankfurt Book Fair/Events". Finally, journalists can look under "Frankfurt Book Fair/Press" in the run-up to the Fair and for daily updates during the Fair, providing them with all the information they need, including press info on what's happening at the Fair and photos for downloading.
