Bologna New Media Prize Finalists Announced
Demonstration of EBooks at "Dust or Magic Bologna"
A message from Warren Buckleitner, Coordinator, 2003 Bologna New Media Prize:ěToday, I am pleased to announce 20 finalists for the 2003 Bologna New Media Prize, chosen from 815 children's interactive media products considered from around the world. The jurors are now working to narrow this list to the six winners, to be announced during the opening ceremony of the Bologna Children's Book Fair.
These 20 products exemplify the "magic" of good design. That's why we will be demonstrating specific attributes of each during a new conference on children's new media design called "Dust or Magic Bologna -- From Paper to Pixels" to be held prior to the Bologna Children's Book Fair (March 31 - April 1). If you are not familiar with this event and have an interest in the design of interactive media products for children, I invite you to participate. It promises to be a rich, inspirational meeting.î
